Preconstruction meeting

Roles:
- Contract Specialist, Project Engineer = modify access
- All other construction roles = read only access
The Contract Specialist and Project Engineer roles will work together to record the Preconstruction meeting in AWP Construction.
- Log into AASHTOWare Project.
- Select the appropriate role (home button action arrow and select the role).
- Select the contract under Contract Administration Overview by searching for the Contract ID, controlling project ID, region, county or contractor in the search box.Tips:
Go to How to Search for the Contract ID by Project ID if only an associated project ID is known. - Click on the contract ID hyperlink for the contract you are working on.
- Click the Contract Documentation quick link located at the top of the screen.
Meetings tab
- On the Contract Documentation Summary component | Meetings tab, click <Add> to add the Preconstruction Meeting.
- On the Contract Documentation Summary component, enter the following required fields:
- Meeting Title - Enter Preconstruction Meeting.
- Meeting Type - Select Preconstruction.
- Meeting Date - Select start date and time of meeting.
- Enter Remarks by selecting the Type and entering the date in the associated Remark field:
- Precon-Letter Sent - Letter Sent
- Precon-Location - Location
- Precon-Remarks - Remarks
- Click <Save>.
Contract Specialist role - Add Preconstruction Meeting information
- On the Contract Documentation Summary component | Meetings tab, select the Preconstruction Meeting hyperlink.
- Under Remarks
- Select Precon-Minutes - Minutes Sent
- Enter the date the minutes were sent in the associated Remark field.
- Edit or add Precon-Remarks - Remarks, if necessary
- Click <Save>.
