Supported operating systems and web browsers

Here is a list of supported and unsupported operating systems and browsers for AASHTOWare Project™, Estimator, Materials Information Tracking System (MIT), Materials Reporting System (MRS), and Materials Tracking System (MTS).

  • Windows 10
  • Windows 11 - see warning below

Warning: The Windows 11 22H2 update released in October 2022 is not a supported operating system.

  • Google Chrome (preferred)
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Windows versions prior to Windows 10
  • Firefox
  • Internet Explorer
  • Safari

Android, Apple and Window devices with any web browser

The personal computer (PC) specifications are required special provisions. Go to Wisconsin Department of Transportation Consultant Contract Documents for more details.

  1. From the Settings and more menu, click <Settings>.

  2. Select the Downloads tab.
  3. Turn off the "Open Office files in the browser" option.
  4. Close the Settings window.
