AASHTOWare Projectâ„¢ Help provides a wealth of information available to you while you work. Understanding how the help system works makes it easier to find the information you need.

Online Help (total video time 2:15)

Component help

The help system is context sensitive, which means that when you click <Help for this Component> at the component level, the system provides information about the functionality of that component only. Each help page provides links to other help pages containing related information.

  1. To search for more detail, select "Click here to see this page in full context".
  2. In the upper right hand search box, enter text pertaining to what you are looking for.
  3. On the left side search results area, click on the Overview of Help for Client/Server Users hyperlink to expand this topic area.
  4. Select a subcategory to see detailed help information.

 

Global help

The global help provides you with overall application assistance that is more general in nature and not linked to a specific component.

 

Help for Client/Server Users

Within AASHTOWare Project Help, there is a Help for Client/Server Users section providing additional help for staff who are more familiar with the AASHTOWare Project PES/LAS/CAS client server applications.

  1. Within AASHTOWare Project, click the global <Help> button from the menu bar.
  2. In the upper right hand search box, enter "Help for Client/Server Users".
  3. On the left side search results area, click on the Overview of Help for Client/Server Users hyperlink to expand this topic area.
  4. Select a subcategory to see detailed help information.
